Dr. Swanepoel has been in veterinary practice
since graduating from the University of Pretoria,
Onderstepoort in 2007 and has over 10 years
experience as a veterinarian both in Australia and
South Africa.
He is a member of the South African Veterinary Council
and was also working as a veterinary volunteer at
Steynsrus, Free State where he spayed and castrated
300 dogs and cats as well as provided medical care to
those in need, over a four day period.
He is very passionate about medical and surgical care
for small and large animals. His areas of expertise
include diaphragmatic hernias, enterectomies,
enterotomies, PRAA corrections, spays, castrations,
tumour removals and orthopaedic pins and plates. He
also trains recently graduated Animal Health Technicians
and provides continuing education to staff members.
When he is not working as a vet, he is an enthusiastic
motor cross/enduro rider and loves to go hiking.
