Tanya joined the Coast Animal Health team a year ago and brings with her over 12 years of working in some of Sydney’s elite specialist veterinary hospitals. She holds a Dip ECC, Cert IV VN and a TAE. She is currently an assessor for cert IV VN and Diploma ECC as one of her passions is training future veterinary nurses.
At Coast Animal Health, Tanya relishes in the challenge of treating more complicated medical/surgical cases. As head nurse, she most enjoys helping her team reach their potential and becoming the best nurses they can be. Of course, the occupational perks of furry cuddles and puppy breath are some of the best parts of her job!
Between work, family life, grading student nurse assessments, and community commitments, Tanya doesn’t have much spare time but if she can, she likes going to the gym for weight training.
Tanya has a rottweiler called Harley, who, despite his enormous size, is convinced he is a lap dog. In the near future, as a self-confessed Bully obsessed enthusiast, Tanya would love to add a Bull Terrier pup to her furry family.
