Important Update Regarding Veterinary Services at Coast Animal Health
We would like to make you aware of some temporary changes to our Veterinary Services. Unfortunately, Dr Laura Piddington has decided to move on from Coast Animal Health. Laura and her partner, bought their first home in Sydney in 2023, and as you can understand, the commute has become quite challenging. We wish Dr Laura, her partner, and “Annie,” their beloved fur baby, all the very best and thank her for all her efforts!
Dr Laura was a mentor to Dr Annabelle, and as such, this void means Dr Annabelle will be relocated to one of our affiliated clinics on the central coast. Dr Caitlin is still with Coast Animal Health but is having a short break. She will be returning to her regular rotation of Thursdays in March.
Recruitment amidst Veterinary Shortages:
We understand the importance of securing another veterinarian to fill the void left by Dr. Laura. However, ongoing nationwide veterinary shortages have posed challenges in our recruitment efforts. We are actively working to address this issue to ensure continued quality care for your beloved pets.
Services Available:
Our clinic will continue to offer food orders, medication requests (for those seen according to legal requirements), parasite control, over-the-counter products, and retail services from Monday to Friday.
Additionally, starting March 7th, full veterinary services will be available on Thursdays.
Trading Hours:
Our trading hours will revert to winter hours, effective immediately, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Nurse Support:
Our dedicated veterinary nurses will still be available to answer phones, address queries, and provide triage services accordingly. Your concerns and questions are important to us, and we will continue to prioritize your pet’s health and well-being.
Vet Appointments:
For veterinary appointments, we encourage you to visit our affiliated clinics at Erina Heights and Ourimbah. They will provide the same level of care and attention that you have come to expect from Coast Animal Health.
If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled with us, please note that we have moved booking affected appointments. Online bookings have been temporarily turned off while we update our systems. If you have any questions or need to reschedule your appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Emergency Clinics:
In case of emergencies during our trading hours, please contact SASH Tuggerah at 4311 1311 (2 Bounty Cl. Tuggerah NSW 2259). Outside of trading hours, you can reach ARH Gosford at 43233886 (Unit 3 401 Manns Rd, West Gosford NSW 2250).
Like many businesses and individuals, our team at Coast Animal Health is also facing financial pressures and transitions. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to supporting you and your pets to the best of our abilities. Any form of abuse will not be tolerated.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this transition period. Our priority remains the health and well-being of your beloved pets. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any concerns or require assistance.
