Coast boast a designated Imaging room for our x-ray and ultrasound needs. We utilise Digital radiography (DR) which has become the gold standard in veterinary practices, maximising image quality and reducing exposure to staff and patient alike by reducing the amount of images and time taken to obtain them. That said, they still need to be perfectly still and positioned appropriately. Chemical restraint (sedation) and/or general anaesthesia is usually required. With additional software programmes such as SignalPet, image interpretation is expanse and swift.
